How does it work?

There are two main sections of the job board, the job seeker and the recruiter. The diagram below shows an overview of how each type of user progresses through the system.
Information needs to be gathered by the system in order to correctly process and present data. There are a series of forms which are presented to the website user in order to collate this information. Information gathered by the system includes:

1. Job seeker registration and member area

a. Before job seeker can apply for a job they need to create a member account, the following details will be requested;

i. First Name * * denotes required fields
ii. Last Name *
iii. Email Address *
iv. Password *
v. Confirm Password *
vi. House Number and Street *
vii. Address Line 2
viii. Town *
ix. County *
x. Country *
xi. Post Code*
xii. Phone Number
xiii. Sign up to mailing list (tick box)
b. Once registered the job seeker will be able to:

i. Add CV details
ii. Personal Statement
iii. Available Start Date
iv. Add Skill (Skill name and competency).
v. Education Information
vi. Employment History
vii. Upload CV (File upload pdf/doc/txt) /Delete CV.

2. Recruiter registration and member area

a. Before a recruiter can view individual CVs or post jobs they need to create a member account, the following details will be requested;

i. First Name * * denotes required fields
ii. Last Name *
iii. Email Address *
iv. Password *
v. Confirm Password *
vi. House Number and Street *
vii. Address Line 2
viii. Town *
ix. County *
x. Country *
xi. Post Code*
xii. Phone Number
xiii. Sign up to mailing list (tick box)

b. Once registered the recruiter will be able to:

i. Edit details relating to business:
– Logo Upload
a. Either enter URL of logo or upload logo (jpg,gif,png).
– Website address
– Company Description

ii. Job upload:
– Job Title
– Job reference
– Category (from dropdown, items defined in control panel by administrator)
– Job Length (from dropdown, items defined in control panel by administrator)
– Location (from dropdown, items defined in control panel by administrator)
– Salary
– Closing date

– Contact details (option to specify new contact email, address and telephone number or user recruiters contact details)
– Job description

iii. Job Management
– Post jobs.
– Edit jobs that have been previously posted.
– Extent job duration.
– Remove job from job board.
